On 30^th September 2023, students from Islam Medical College, Sialkot participated in the Arthur C Guyton Physiology Quest (ACGPQ) at FMH Medical College, organized by the FMH Physiology Society.

Eight students from 1^st and 2^nd Year MBBS represented our college, competing alongside institutions from across Pakistan in a highly competitive and academic environment. Our students made us proud and won in two categories, gaining valuable exposure and experience regarding Physiology.

Special thanks to Worthy Chairman Islam Group, Mr. Chaudhary M. Islam, Respected Principal Islam Medical College, Prof. Dr. Zamir Ahmed, Head of Department Physiology, Prof. Dr. Mamoona Shafiq, and Dr. Mehwish Qamar, Asst. Professor from the Physiology Department, for supervising and accompanying the students on this journey. The winners are: Palvasha Maqpoon and Syeda Mursala Zainab (Category Winners – Physiovenger Hunt), and Abdullah Sikander (Honorable Mention – Hippocrates Strife).

The students were later encouraged to host such an event in their own institute and participate further and were invited to a private tea session by the Principal of Islam Medical College, along with the faculty of Physiology, Heads of Department of Anatomy and Biochemistry, and Director of Medical Education and Research.
