PROGRAM OUTCOMES
By the end of 5-year program, our graduates will be able to:
I. Demonstrate the ability to independently manage non-critical clinical problems.
ii. Exhibit proficiency in life-saving procedures and the ability to assist in the management of critically ill patients.
iii. Adhere to ethical principles and display attributes such as honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
iv. Conduct research that contributes to the advancement of medical knowledge and brings relevance to healthcare practices.
v. Act as efficient community health promoters by advocating for health promotion and disease prevention.
vi. Exhibit comprehensive scientific knowledge in all professional activities.
vii. Demonstrate clear and efficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

YEAR OUTCOMES
YEAR I
By the end of first year, students should be able to:

  1. Correlate the developmental and anatomical knowledge of cell, hematology, immunology, nerve, muscle, bone, cardiovascular and respiratory systems to their physiological and biochemical basis.
  2. Perform basic examination skills related to basic concepts addressed
  3. Comprehend the significance of behavioral science in medical education.
  4. Analyze multiple perspectives of Islamic studies or ethics.
  5. Discuss the basic principles of research.

YEAR II
By the end of second year, students should be able to:

  1. Correlate the developmental and anatomical knowledge of GIT & metabolism, renal, neurosciences, Genetics, Craniocervical, Special senses, Endocrinal & Reproductive systems to their physiological, and biochemical basis.
  2. Integrate the fundamental concepts of social and behavioral sciences with knowledge of other medical subjects.
  3. Apply the principles of research for writing research proposal.
  4. Analyze multiple perspectives of Pakistan studies.

YEAR III
By the end of third year, students will be able to:

  1. Recognize the etiology, pathophysiology and morphological changes of human diseases in relation with its clinical significance.
  2. Apply the fundamental concepts of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, applied pharmacology and therapeutics in medicine.
  3. Apply the fundamental concepts of social and behavioral sciences in clinical settings.
  4. Develop a research proposal for a given topic.
  5. A Take detailed relevant history and perform physical examination of common medical and surgical disorders.

YEAR IV
By the end of fourth year, student will be able to:

  1. Identify ethical issues and malpractices related to health care delivery and health research.
  2. Collect, analyze, present, interpret data and apply relevant statistical tests to conduct a house hold survey & a mini research project.
  3. Describe the etiology, clinical features, pathogenesis, laboratory findings, morphological features and clinico-pathologic consequences of major diseases related to the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, hepatobiliary system and pancreas.
  4. Identify common ear and ophthalmological diseases specially emergencies, provide primary health care, refer to an appropriate center and do the follow- up of patients of his area.

YEAR V
At the end of final year, student will be able to:

  1. Diagnose common Medical, Surgical, Obstetric/Gynecological and Pediatrics problems, suggest and interpret appropriate investigation, rationalize treatment plan and if appropriate, refer patient for specialist opinion/ management.
  2. Suggest preventive measure for the common Public Health Problem in the community.
  3. Adapt research findings appropriately to the individual patient situation or relevant patient population.
