The Department of Paediatrics provides health facilities to children less than 14 years of age reporting at Islam Teaching Hospital and Islam Central Hospital. The department consists of an independent children ward, nursery with neonatal intensive care. Paediatrics emergency room. Outpatient clinic, well baby clinic, vaccination center and Paediatrics ICU. Each segment of the department is well equipped to provide optimum routine as well as intensive medical care to sick and critically ill children.
It's out Patient Department works six days a week, and has a proper vaccination center. Separate days for growth monitoring, vaccination and well being clinic are allocated in addition to daily routine outdoor treatment.
