The department of Surgery is a well developed department. It not only delivers knowledge and skills to undergraduate & post graduate medical students but also defined curriculum. The Department has a strong network that traverses outpatient rooms, surgical wards, emergency wards and state of art operation theaters. The department is recognized by PMC for undergraduate training & by CPSP for postgraduate training.
Department transfers information to students not only by lectures & ward training but also arranges small group discussions, symposia, seminars & internet facilities to develop them into an independent & self motivated adult learner.
